Ah, I wonder why that was not set in my case then? As far as I remember
I did not remove my single fat32 partition from the mount table in
January.

You still have to manually select the partition and select the correct file system first. Only then you will be able to select one of these mount points (if the current file system is FAT or NTFS).

Could the defaults be set and displayed?  Leaving the user to remove vfat
and ntfs mounts if they did not want them?  I think more people will
appreciate the mount point than not, in my view.
