Hi folks,

As suggested on the mailing list I booted the Sarge
netinst CD of 20040104 with

	linux DEBCONF_PRIORITY=medium vga=0x318

on the Lilo command line. After setting the language
and keyboard I got this error message popup

Error while running 'modprobe -v aiv7xxx'

while the 'Detecting hardware' progress bar was
running. I could continue, but a few seconds later
I got a similar message about ide-disk. On the shell
console I could verify that both modules were loaded.

If I boot the CD using 'linux vga=0x318', then there
is no such problem.

Regards

Harri
