Bug#302359: debian-installer: linux26 can't boot with root=/dev/ida/c0d0p1 or root=/dev/rd/c0d0p1
Package: debian-installer
Severity: important
The GRUB entry for linux26 have to be
kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.8-2-686 root=/dev/rd!c0d0p2 ro
Please note the exclamation sign! This is required by Kernel 2.6. It is serious
bug and makes the system not bootable.
The solution might be:
# kopt_2_4=root=/dev/rd/c0d0p1 ro
# kopt=root=/dev/rd!c0d0p1 ro
