The best one to use is "installation-reports". It would also be good if
you could use the template at [1].

Looks like a driver conflict.
There a 2 things you can try:
- boot with 'linux26'; the installer will then use a 2.6 kernel instead of
the default 2.4 one
- boot with 'expert' and deselect the ide-disk module during hardware
detection
