Bug#301668: partman fails to create a prep partition, and falsely complains it is a ext3 partition.

Package: partman
Version: rc3 version.
Severity: important

Hi, i am trying to get partman/partman-prep working on a prep box, but find
some ununderstandable results. I had some looking at the code, but failed thus
far to find the solution or why it is behaving as such.

The partman interface correctly marks the partition i created as prep, and
also correctly sets the prep flag on the partition table, but it complains
that the partition is an ext3 partition and has no mount point, and
subsequently fails to set the boot_partitions debconf value used by yaboot or
prep -installer. which has me trully baffled.

Friendly,

Sven Luther
