Started with MacOS 9.1, BootX 1.2.2 and 7.6 GB of free space on HD.
Used ftp from mirror.switch.ch using home ADSL connection
No proxy.
Machine: Macintosh G3 Series 266 MHz "Wallstreet", 192 MB RAM, 20 GB Toshiba
MK2018 GAS HD, Matsushita UJDA310 CDRW
Processor: 266 MHz G3
Memory: 192 MB (original 64 MB + 128 MB module)
Root Device: IDE 20 GB Toshiba MK2018 GAS HD.
Root Size/partition table:
MacOS on partitions 1-9,
2.2 GB root on partition 10,
281 MB swap on partition 11,
5.2 GB home on partition 12.
(Sizes chosen by installer, given "Desktop" option.)

Comments/Problems: Didn't want to install quik, didn't want a boot partition,
had some difficulty copying the contents of /boot back to the BootX folder
on the MacOS partition. Eventually done by mounting the root partition and
a DOS formatted CF card (in the cardbus slot) while running the installer
and copying files across. Could then boot using BootX. Very smooth install
up to this point.
