According to lilo-installer/manual_bootdev, traditional device nams like
/dev/hda are supported, but this does not work. Nowhere in the code does
it even try to support traditional devices, in fact the code that parses
the input uses really nasty manipulation of the devfs device name to
work out partition information. It did support "/dev/discs/disc0/disc",
which I found really hard to work out even though I should know devfs..
