Comments/Problems:

The install fails on detection of the sata driver, it tries to load the sata_nv module but fails. I have tried other installations of linux all with the 2.6 kernel (Mandrake 10.1, Slackware 10.1) all fail with the detection of the sata. I have managed to load the woody version but it cannot use the drive correctly. I have also tried the AMD-64 build from http://debian-amd64.alioth.debian.org/install-images/ I've also tried to load Knoppix as well but this has failed with the same issues. I'm more than happy to help try to solve this although I'm a linux newbie, my experiences with unix ended about 15 years ago at university.

Cheers
Adrian

Hi Adrian

Did you use "linux" or "linux26" on the boot prompt?
Also could you try a daily build[1] of i386?

Thanks
