sarge netinst can fill up /v/cache/apt
Just a note to let developers know of my experience in doing the
netinst install (repeatedly, i.e. twice) filled up
/var/cache/apt/"something" causing the install to hang in such a way
that I had to go back to the very beginning of the install and do it
all over again. Got around it by moving that area to the larger /usr
partition and putting in a symlink to it. The install at least went to
the point that most got installed and configured. (XF86Config probs
now.)
In any case, it would be good to put in some sort of check to make sure
there is available space before attempting to download many MBs of
debs, or having some way to recover when the disk does fill up.
I'd have to search the netinst cd to see which version I'm using
(believe though that it is within the last week or so, unless the
online iso links have messed me up). If someone needs that info and
knows exactly where on the cd it is, then please let me know...I'm kind
of busy right now. Thanks.
