Well, I don't have much to say, indeed:

The file I use is:

bubulle@cc-mykerinos:~/tmp> ls -l /home/bubulle/iso/sid_d-i/sarge-i386-netinst.iso
-rw-r--r-- 1 bubulle vmware 136386560 2005-01-08 23:08 /home/bubulle/iso/sid_d-i/sarge-i386-netinst.iso

bubulle@cc-mykerinos:~/tmp> md5sum /home/bubulle/iso/sid_d-i/sarge-i386-netinst.iso
a532c4464909cde1d97d78ef6243c131 /home/bubulle/iso/sid_d-i/sarge-i386-netinst.iso

My vmware machine is setup for booting first from CD, then from HD,
then from the network.

However, it jumps to the network boot quite quickly (the virtual HD is
not bootable) just as if the CD was not bootable.

More strange : I tested with another vmware machine I have.....and it
worked. So, it seems to pertain to my vmware setup....however, I'm
puzzled by this. I'll investigate later because I currently have no
idea of the origin of the problem..:-)
