Memory: 768 MB DDR
Root Device: IDE /dev/hda
Root Size/partition table: 6GB. The rest is LVM
Output of lspci: can't get far enough for that...

Comments/Problems:
My machine has a HP CD-Writer 9300i as /dev/hdd. A linux boot doesn't
work unless I append "hdd=noprobe hdd=cdrom".
Doing this had no effect with the sarge installer.
I tried (in expert mode) adding "hdd=none" to all ide-detect, and
ide-cd, but they don't take this argument happily.
I think we need a way to get those arguments (from the boot line) passed
on to the relevent modules...
I am at a loss, and installing from woody.
