Comments/Problems:

Booted from the install disk. Selected linux26. Answered the usual answers for language, etc.
When he gets to "Staring up the partitioner" and "Detecting filesystems" the disk light goes on and stays on.

Tried it 2x.

I also tried it with the default kernel and he installs OK. Except that when booting the system 
he turned off DMA on the disks and checked hda14 and hdb13. Found nothing.

I then restored lilo in the mbr and did fsck -f on those 2 devices, found nothing.

I am running 2.6.7 now on hdb13 and shows no probs.

If I don't hear anything on this I will jigdo-lite CD1 when gluck has the new template and try this again...
