Hello,

Yesterday I have made a test installation using pre-rc2 netinst
image and linux26 on my Toshiba S1400-103 laptop and found a
few problems. I will put them in separate reports.
(I selected Romanian language to be used during installation.)

The partition /dev/hda3 was initially set to type openBSD but was
formatted as ReiserFS (for testing reasons).

First problem, partman detected it as being ReiserFS, I guess the best
would have been to display some warning about the inconsistency.

I wanted /dev/hda3 to be my root partition. I deleted it then specified
it as reiserFS and choosed to format it.

Everything went ok, but I saw afetr reboot that the type indicated by
the partition table for the partition in question was OpenBSD not
ReiserFS (well, Linux). This would be the second problem.

This is inconsistent, at least.
