Bug#276654: GRUB is hanging
Package: installation-reports
Debian-installer-version: Snapshot 101304
uname -a: -
Date: 14.10.2004
Method: Businesscard with Snapsht 101304
Machine: Dell Latitude D800 with WUXGA, Nvidia GeForce FX Go 5650, Bluetooth,

Processor: Pentium M 1,7GHz
Memory: 512 MB RAM
Root Device: IDE, hda1=DELL-Utils (FAT16), hda2=WinXP (NTFS) hda3=/ (XFS),

Output of lspci and lspci -n:

Comments/Problems:
1. Config Network: I have no chance to configure my WLAN (Intel 2200 802.11
B/G) - bad.
2. Load Installer Modules: the Installer load a floppy module. But my D800 has
no Floppy ;)
3. Install Boot Loader: BAD! I would install GRUB into the MBR ( I try hd0,2
too), but after 50% it nothing happens. After one hour I give up. I tried
SuSE 9.1 from the german LinuxMagazin and it works perfectly with the same
configuration.
