Comments/Problems:

1. This system has no network cards, just an external 56KB USRobotics Modem.
The installer keeps returning to Configure Network. When you do select a module
there you get "Error while running 'modprobe -v tlan'"
2. The install doc that comes with this version seems to suggest that the installer steps through
the installation, like the woody installer, it does not. It keeps returning to the
Configure Network, which does not exist, and the user has to select the next step.
3. The bootloader does not "install", meaning lilo never gets run, so when you reboot
you end up with the lilo image that you had before the install.
4. If you run lilo elsewhere with the configuration that the installer put into /etc/lilo.conf
and boot that system, a kernel panic results.

I'm closing this installation report, since request(s) for more information
were not answered. If you still experience the problem, or if you can tell
us the information we originally asked for, please write back and tell us.

Note that much newer versions of the installer are now available, which fix
a lot of bugs, including possibly the ones you reported.
