which is netcfg-dhcp default behaviour in case of failure?

Hi,

I'd like to use netcfg-dhcp but *not* netcfg-static.

I'm wondering which is the default behaviour of netcfg-dhcp in case of
failure.. Does it prompt the user for error? If so is there a way to
force it to silently go on even in case of failure? I'd like the
process to be non-interactive..

Cheers,
