As far as I can see, this comes under the same general heading of "pppoe is not supported". Perhaps we should add something to that effect to the installation manual, since it seems nobody is working on it. Does not feel like an errata item to me; errata are inaverent bugs specific to a particular d-i release. -- see shy jo
