It works with the 2.6 kernel. Also, the problem with my SCSI card is fixed as 
well (as I said before, I'm not using it right now). It also detects my 
firewire card as a network interface.

Note: this 3Com card *IS* supported by the 2.4 kernel - that's what I'm 
running it on now. This implies that something is wrong with your kernel 
configuration. The fact that there is also a problem with my SCSI card under 
the 2.4 kernel that disappears under the 2.6 kernel confirms this as well. 
You might want to look at your configuration and recompile the kernel 
distributed with the installer.

I'm going to bring Debian up on this machine this weekend using 2.6. If you 
want me to perform more tests, I can do that at any time, though, and will be 
happy to.
