Comments/Problems:
there is a big mistake from real kernel used and what system think to
use !!! loock at down list
xdabon:~# ls /boot
boot.0800 initrd.img-2.6.7-1-386 System.map-2.6.7-1-386
config-2.6.7-1-386 map vmlinuz-2.6.7-1-386
debianlilo.bmp sarge.bmp
grub sid.bmp
xdabon:~# ls /lib/modules
2.6.7-1-386
xdabon:~# modprobe -l
modprobe: Can't open dependencies file /lib/modules/2.4.25/modules.dep
(No such file or directory)
xdabon:~# ls /etc/apt/sources.list
/etc/apt/sources.list
xdabon:~#

As u see (rem uname too) Sarge seems working with 2.4.25 while 2.6.7 is
doing it really!
HW is correctly recon, seems 2 me, but related modules of kernel cant be
loaded, of course in that situation, because of modprobe points 2
uncorrect location that dont exist, as above.
example: audio chip recon, audio module 'not here'
(xdabon:~# alsactl restore
alsactl: load_state:1134: No soundcards found...)
nothing 2 do 4 me! (sig!)

I hope 2 be useful

Amed
