Bug#272420: Reaching possible test point
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
At this point, we've established that the Ethernet card in question is
supported, just not detected by the installer. In addition, no one has
suggested a way to configure the card manually during the Installation
process.
Ideally, the Installer should be corrected to detect the card. At the least,
instructions should be present of how to configure the card manually during
the Installer run so that there is some chance of success in the install.
As we're approaching the weekend, I'm reaching a point that I can bring the
machine down for a period for install testing. I've supplied all the
information requested to this point. If you need anything from me ... or want
me to test something, I'll be glad to assist.
