It sounds as if you told apt-setup, which is run by base-config to scan a netinst CD for packages or something. If you don't have a full CD, of course that won't work. But apt-setup also allows you to set up access to the mirrors at that point. Please explain every step of the install in detail, and what you did. -- see shy jo
