Well, this is not the case on yaboot using pmacs, not on chrp using pegasos, i
believe you have another problem.

Well, this bug is probably only the symptom of another problem.

Why is it only used by PReP ? I can well make it work for my chpr/pegasos

You obviously haven't read debian-kernel too, have you ? It is about some
broken xfmt4 or whatever driver in the kernel-source you are based on.
