I've fixed lilo-installer and grub-installer in svn so lilo is installed if /boot is on lvm. This should in theory allow completly lvm installs, however in practice I've not managed to boot the installed system with root on lvm, whether or not /boot is. I need to investigate further and find out why it worked for the submitter of this bug and not for me. -- see shy jo
