Bug#238882: kernel install failure
Hi,
I did the test with the lastest version ( 25 07 04) and I don t have kernel
the problem anymore. However I am not able to install Grub on the server. So
I installed lilo and it works. I did the first step = no internet download,
because the server I used wasn t in a Vlan which has an internet connexion.
But the base system is install.
I think the error I have is related to grub because it says : "doesn t have
corresponding bios drive"
I checked newsgroups but I didn t find any news to solve my problem.
Anyway because it works with lilo, I think you can close the bug

I'm currently processing old installation reports, and since you
reported some problems with the debian installer back in March, I would
very much appreciate it, if you could find time to download and test
the latest[1] cd image and confirm whether you still see the problems
you've mentioned. If they are no longer present, I will close this
report.
Much has changed with the installer since March, and it is not unlikely
that the problems you mention have been dealt with by the Debian
Developers working on the installer.
