Comments/Problems:
Just an information before anything. The only difference from my
computer to
any regular iMac DV+ is that I don't have the apple pro keyboard
anymore,
I'm using a regular USB keyboard with brazillian abnt2 layout. The
second
dialog is the keyboard chooser. When I select "Portugues", it fails and
the
following messages display on log (using alt-f4 to see):

Then it shows me only one option (USB Keyboard) which I can understand.
When
I press enter, a list of layouts is displayed. But when I select
"Portugues"
which is the layout I have, it fails and the following is logged.

And then it gives me the main menu again.
If I select "Ingles Americano" (American english) it does ok.
If the first fails, everything starts to get strange...
When I rebooted and started again selecting American English keyboard,
it
was much cleaner... Detecting everything without prompting me for
nothing...
One weird thing is that it configures linux-floppy module, therefore the
iMac doesn't have floppy drive at all...
The partitioning doesn't work as well... If I say to it use the entire
disk,
it says that there is no "newWorld boot partition", doen't matter if I
manually configures a partition for that.
But I could say that I don't want to get back to partitioning and
proceed with
the installation, and it proceeded to base system installation...
When I rebooted, it didn't use a wizard, it came up with a menu to
choose
one of the options (that included "Show welcome dialog") and
surprisingly,
there were no way to login after that, just like if it didn't start any
getty...
So I had to reboot again and see what happens...
When I rebooted, again no getty... no way to login, only thing to do was
reboot again, now trying an alternate init...
After that, I discovered, that /dev/tty1 to 6 doesn't exists...
So I changed inittab to use /dev/vc/1 to 6 in getty and rebooted
again...
modconf wasn't isntalled!?!?!?!?!
Soundcard wasn't detected.
devfsd wasn't isntalled (which caused the init problem...)
