Bug#260496: base-config: Does not properly load the keyboard mapping configured at 1st stage
Package: base-config
Version: 2.36
Severity: important
Tags: d-i
(this bug is maybe a console-common bug)
After the "welcome" message of base-config, during any install (2.4 or 2.6,
any locale), the keyboard is improperly configured at second stage (in all
cases, the selected keyboard in d-i 1st stage was fr-latin9).
A lot of messages very quickly appear on the console:
"Couldn't get a file descriptor referring to the console"
Then console-data configure screens appear, which is unusual...
Configuring console-data just after this doe snot trigger any error even
when choosing the same keyboard layout than chosen in 1st stage.
