Certianly looks to be enabled to me; it's noticing inserts and loading
the right module for your card. In my experience pcmcia does not
beep in the debian installer; I'm not sure why.

Anyway, I suggest you try the latest daily build and if you still have a
pcmcia problem, let us know, and let us know what the actual problem is.
