I would like to see a small DFS (Debian From Scratch) Live-CD on the
same disc as d-i, so that it can be dual-booted to either the installer
or a rescue CD. Or, perhaps the rescue system could have a command that
launches the installer? That would work if they use the same kernel.

For this to work right, the DFS system must be very small, and must
totally run from RAM. The idea is to find the CD, umount it, dd
the .iso into ramdisk, then loop mount that, freeing the CD to be
changed at will. This will of course not work in a low-memory computer.
I will probably require a minimum of 256 to 512 Mb ram.

Ideas?
