I'm not sure if some users might be annoyed to see only one language on the list though. I'm considering some of the alternatives listed in bug #202907. The one that adds language-dekstop tasks is easily enough done with the new tasksel. One conclusion I reached today is that language "tasks" are not really tasks in the tasksel sense, and should really be orthagonal to task selection. Until this is fixed there will continue to be various problems no matter what we do. Unfortunatly a real fix is probably a post-sarge item now. -- see shy jo
