Comments/Problems:
Configure network HW:
The installer queries with a list of modules before probing from pcmcia,
this might be confusing for people without much previous knowledge of
linux and the debian installer. It might be good to state that the list
is not relevant for pc-card users.
Partition hard drives:
First off, on a clean disk it warns that the partition table wasn't
recognized, this is quite likely to alarm the user (it even got me to
back off once before I figured). Again it's probably a good thing if
there is a note saying that it's normal if it's a new disk.
Secondly some kind of autopartitioning scheme would be nice for
inexperienced users.
Post-reboot:
I noticed an anomaly on this particular netinst iso. The network
wouldn't go back up after the reboot. Loading the required modules
manually wouldn't give me an eth0 either.
I eventually figured out that it was probably because the pcmcia-cs was
older than the corresponding udeb used by the installer. Installing the
udeb off the cd and manually ejecting/inserting the card made it work
(since the udeb provides no cardctl). (I did however not try to manually
eject and insert using the installed pcmcia-cs but I did try quite a few
software cardctl eject/insert.)
