A first look seems OK to me...but, well, I'm not among those who can
find obvious errors easily..:-)
Testing base-config is not really easy, however.
We could maybe apply the first patch you sent (it is obviously non
destructive) and wait later for this one).
The first would close 254452, then you file another BR for "cleaning"
code, with this new patch, waiting for some review.
