Bug#253785: Install Problem



Martin,

Another reply gave me the solution, it appears this is a known problem with Dell laptops and a need to exclude a certain resource range of '0x800-0x8ff'.

I did however also check to see if passing hw-detect/start_pcmcia=false would work and it did.

Can you pass the hw-detect/start_pcmcia=false option when you boot and
see if that works?
