I think that serial console installs are not common enough to warrant
putting that in the boot screens, but that it certainly belongs instead
in the Installation Manual, for those installing to headless servers and
what have you.

Once the other problem is solved, you can use the standard installer
floppy, and before using it, edit the syslinux.cfg to add the command
line options you need to your kernel "append" line, and make that kernel
the default, plus have it boot with a timeout or no prompt, so you don't
need a keyboard attached to use it.  How to do that should be outlined
in the Installation Manual if it's not already.  (Perhaps Shaul can keep
careful notes as you learn to make this work, and write that section for
the team?)
