Comments/Problems:

Install base system:
This worked flawlessly, nonetheless I got a message about ide-scsi
missing but actually it was there at the end... ???
Another oddity: the installer configured grub perfectly but the
post-installation script reminded about configuring lilo.

Post installation:
After the reboot the installation was completed downloading all the
packages I required from my preferred debian mirror.

The Xfree86 server worked but wasn't properly configured by the
post-installation script. Then I had to do a
dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86
which solved the problem

Conclusion:
Install was successful and easy

Good to hear that; thanks for testing!

2.6 is actually supported, just boot with: linux26
