We use a completely new partitioning tool now. Can you please get an
image from http://gluck.debian.org/cdimage/testing/sarge_d-i/ and try
if this works on your hardware?

Does that work now?

Can you try the new image as well and see if those LILO/GRUB problems
are still there? I'm fairly sure we had some people using d-i on
hardware like yours recently.
