Bug#238179: Additional info: Issues errors when checking some ext3 file systems

I do a lot of test installations on my desktop and this error occurs every
time.

I noticed that in the same situation on my (new) laptop I don't get the error.
The logs for installations on both systems are attached.
For the desktop the ext3 check is at iteration 255.
For the laptop the ext3 check is at iteration 132.

There are two differences I can think of:
- on my desktop the partition to check is not on /dev/hda but on /dev/hdb
- on my desktop I deleted the partition originally just before the
  partition to check and created two new partitions in the same space;
  this means that partitions /dev/hdb8 and /dev/hdb9 (reformatted ext3)
  are physically before /dev/hdb6 (the partition to test) and
  /dev/hdb7 (swap).

What is the actual command that is run during the check? Maybe I could run it
manually and see what happens...

Hope this helps.
