Checking the sparc 2.4.26 kernel config brought up this: sparc32/boot/config-2.4.26-sparc32:CONFIG_IP_PNP=y sparc32/boot/config-2.4.26-sparc32:# CONFIG_IP_PNP_DHCP is not set sparc32/boot/config-2.4.26-sparc32:# CONFIG_IP_PNP_BOOTP is not set sparc32/boot/config-2.4.26-sparc32:CONFIG_IP_PNP_RARP=y sparc64/boot/config-2.4.26-sparc64-smp:CONFIG_IP_PNP=y sparc64/boot/config-2.4.26-sparc64-smp:# CONFIG_IP_PNP_DHCP is not set sparc64/boot/config-2.4.26-sparc64-smp:# CONFIG_IP_PNP_BOOTP is not set sparc64/boot/config-2.4.26-sparc64-smp:CONFIG_IP_PNP_RARP=y So I say there is RARP support in the sparc kernels.
