Are you guys running through a switch?

We just installed some PXE boot debian boxes (running my "twin" network
console boot disk) and had trouble with PXE not getting DHCP but the linux
OS was getting DHCP.

It turned out that the switch was refusing packets for the first 30 seconds
after the connection became active, and we had to disable this feature of
the switch on those ports.
