That's bug #244424, it's being worked on.

Can you reproduce this? Note that you can boot the installer on the same
machine and add/delete partitions without blowing away your install, as
long as you cancel it all before the confirmation screen. If you can
reproduce it, I imagine it would be useful to have a copy of the
installer's log file, /var/log/partman, and also a dump of your
partition table.

What does this command say on the installed system?

	discover --enable-all ethernet --module

What happens if you modprobe 8139too and ifup eth0?
