Bug#243669: yaboot-installer: yaboot asks for Apple_bootstrap partition even on non pmac hardware.
Package: yaboot-installer
Version: 0.0.15
Severity: important
Tags: d-i
Hello,
yaboot-installer does again appear on chrp boxes, which is ok, but
aborts because it is asking for a Apple_Bootstrap partition. On
chrp-rs6k, a PReP partition is needed, and on chrp-pegasos, no special
partition at all is needed, and yaboot doesn't work anyway.
A solution to this problem would be to :
1) make sure we propose yaboot-installer on newworld and non-pegasos
chrp only.
2) do the Apple_bootstrap check on newworld pmac hardware only.
Friendly,
Sven Luther
