Comments/Problems:

1. Booting the jigdo-lited 3/20/2004 version of sarge-i386-1.iso that I got from:
http://gluck.debian.org/cdimage/testing/cd/jigdo-area/i386/jigdotemplates/sarge-i386-1.template
http://gluck.debian.org/cdimage/testing/cd/jigdo-area/i386/sarge-i386-1.jigdo

everything worked fine with default boot parms. However no /etc/network/interfaces was set up that should at least contain:

# The loopback interface
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

This gets troublesome later on when you try to use something like http://localhost:631 with CUPS.

I am on a limb here because I do not know if the installer is supposed to fill this in or if this is part of base-config.

Hugo.
