And I fixed the resulting breakage. :-)
(The _build target depends on tree_umount, which tested for /dev/console
to decide if /dev was mounted, and called "sudo umount" then)

At least when building on mips uning fakeroot, the result is a _regular_
file instead of a device file. So it fails with a kernel panic.
