Comments/Problems:
1. I received the error
'modprobe -v dmfe'
but, this time by clearing the error out I was able to get the network
configuration and by doing an ifdown on the linksys card I was able to
get to the mirrors..
2. nvidia configuration, is this out of scope for this project?
