Bug#237419: Tested newest debian net installation image.
I tested newest debian sid? installation image using USB memory stick
and now it wasn't anymore hanging at ide-detect module.
Kernel was 2.4.25-1-686 after installation was completed. Forgot to
check what it was when installation started.
Downloaded image from:
ftp://ftp.debian.org/debian/dists/sid/main/installer-i386/current/images/netboot/mini.iso
Now I got debian testing version installed. Boot's fine.. After hacking
with ATI's XFree86 driver even got accelerated video working too. Sound
is still a issue.. but I need to sleep sometime :|
Just for record, I had configured Enhanced mode for SATA & PATA. Didn't
change between these two tests.
