Package: partman Severity: normal Tags: d-i In partman, if I choose a device, the first menu item is "Cancel this menu", which is redundant because there is a back button. The third item is something about dumping the partition info, which might be useful for debugging, but I did not understand. The second item is the only one I think anyone will want to select. In discussion on the mailing list, we decided that the debugging thing should go in bugreporter-udeb somehow. Then that whole little menu can be changed into a boolean question that asks the user if they want to create a new, empty partition table on the selected disk. It should default to false. -- System Information: Found unknown policy: ('1', 'pool')Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.25 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US -- see shy jo
