Bug#235367: better defaults for new partition

Package: partman
Severity: wishlist
Tags: d-i

If I create a new partition, its settings default to "do not use", not
bootable, not mounted, no filesystem type. These are not good defaults and
mean a lot of work to get a usable setup.

What I'd like to see is partman default to making an ext3 partition,
defaulting to mounting it on the next unused mount point (/ then /home
then /usr, etc). The root partition should automatically be made
bootable.
