Root Device: IDE, on Intel 82801EB SATA controller, UDMA mode 5
Root Size/partition table: 120 GB, one primary partition of 250 MB formatted as FAT
Output of lspci: N/A

Comments/Problems:

Boots OK from the CD.
Able to choose language options OK.
Starts loading modules and hangs hard with the progress bar at 80%, saying it is loading the ide-detect package.
