You mean that the existing sk98lin driver in 2.4.22 (which
debian-installer currently uses) should do it once the discover-data is
updated?

I don't think so as when I did a modprobe sk98lin it failed. This issue is
that the sk98lin driver does not know about this onboard nic until
2.4.25-pre6....
