Comments/Problems:

the install successfully boots the kernel (I used no extra boot
params) and allows me to choose English as the language. It gets
through the first "detecting hardware" stage, and the "loading
components" stage. On the second "detecting hardware," it gets to 95%
complete, and then hangs on the message "Skipping unavailable module
'ide-floppy' for 'Linux IDE floppy'" The machine is then completely
wedged: can't ctrl-alt-del, can't open the cdrom tray, have to
power-cycle.

I dug up a copy of the beta1 CD, and was able to install from that
without any problems, so this must be something introduced in beta2--
I imagine whatever comes after IDE-Floppy in the hardware detection.

Otherwise, keep up the good work; the installer really seems to be
coming together well.
