Bug#226730: Problem with wireless pcmcia network card and keymap
(Bart, a lot of nl tsl stuff in this report, if you didn't manage to
see it...Alastair same for keyboard stuff : kbd-chooser and console-data)
First of all, many many thanks for this very detailed report which
will gve work to several of us..:-))...mostly translators
If someone has time. This report is worth being splitted in several
"small" bug reports. But some of them have trivial fixes (translation
typos)so they're better not worth the work of filing a BR.
Quoting Bastiaan Van Eeckhoudt (bastiaanve@gmx.net):
> * choose a language screen
> first line is (???? ??? ????? ????? (????? ?????

>Updated bulgarian translation (bg.po).> chinese text is displayed correctly further down the list
Arabic entry messed up. Already fixed.

This is Bad. You should always support the localization efforts in
your own language. Good l10n is one of the keys for world domination...:-)
Just kidding, of course, but as you may see using your own loanguage
helps you finding translation errors.

Yes, this should. However, we're in the process of changing all
this. If my proposal is accepted, there will be only *one* language
entry for dutch on the first screen, followed by a "countrychooser"
screen.
On this latter screen, the default will depend on the language you
choose first. Probably Netherlands when Dutch is chosen (except if
Belgium people make a lot of noise....I know they can). But Belgium
will be listed anyway. You should even be able to choose any other country.
Then this country setting will be used as default for all
county-related stuff (mirror, keyboard...)

Bart Cornelis will look at this, I guess.

Known problem. Supposed to be fixed now.

No idea on this one, I guess someone will have more knowledge than
myself there.

Incomplete console-data package debconf translation

This probably needs one of us to file s special BR.
Console-data should probably check the existence of debconf settings
from kbd-chooser

Bart, this is for you.

In the second stage. This probably means that debconf dialog interface
is not translated in dutch. Bart, you need to look at this. This is
hidden in another package (do not remember which one currently....newt
or something)

Translation problem. Bart ?

Probably the templates for the shadow package are outdated. Shadow's
maintainer is a bit slow at integrating translations.

Shadow package translation problem

Joey, that specific topic is interesting to check : could apt-config
get the previously selected mirror from the debconf database ?

Bart : exim4-config translation needs update..:-)
